Bill Goldstein, of the New York Times and WNBC's "Saturday Today" in New York, will moderate a discussion between the creative team of Stephin Merritt (composer), David Greenspan (book writer), Leigh Silverman (director), and Jayne Houdyshell (Coraline), and take questions from the audience.
The evening will conclude with the first-ever public performance of one of Coraline's songs, performed by Stephin Merritt.

Tickets for the stage adaption of Neil Gaiman's "Coraline," with music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt, will go on sale Monday, March 23 via the MCC Theater website. The production — a collaboration between Merritt, director Leigh Silverman, and writer/actor David Greenspan — begins a special limited engagement run on May 7 at New York City's Lucille Lortel Theatre.
From March 23 to April 12 single price tickets to any performance will be available at the special price of $39. (Regular ticket prices start at $65.) To purchase tickets at the discounted price, apply the promotional code CLHT upon checkout at the MCC Theater website. There is a limit of eight tickets per order. Availability is subject to change.

Merge Records is celebrating their 20th anniversary with the release of the Score! box set, containing 14 compilation CDs from the Merge catalog each curated by a non-Merge artist. The collection also includes a disc of various non-Merge artists covering songs from the Merge catalog, a disc of remixes, a photo book of Merge record cover art and more. All proceeds from Score! will benefit charities selected by the curators of the compilation CDs.

The Magnetic Fields, back from their European tour, are happy to announce that they will be touring stateside once again with a short string of performances this October. The shows kickoff Friday, October 10 in Minneapolis and end with a run up the East Coast that will include a return stop to the New York City area.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets for most shows will be available starting Tuesday, July 15 through Music Today.

The Magnetic Fields are readying the re-release of their catalog on full-length 12" vinyl albums. Merge Records will start the run in May with "The Charm of the Highway Strip," the band's 1994 Merge debut. Nonesuch Records will follow on June 24 with a pressing of "Distortion," the band's January 2008 release. This fall, Merge Records will release the vinyl edition of "Get Lost." "The Charm of the Highway Strip" is now available for pre-order at the Merge Records Store.
