Magnetic Fields announce second New York City show at The Beacon Theater.

The Magnetic Fields have added a second show at the Beacon Theater in New York City on April 4th, the day following their current, nearly sold out show. Devotchka (acoustic) will open the show.

Presale tickets are currently available via Music Today. General tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb 10 via Ticketmaster.

SXSW Appearance Confirmed

For the first time ever, The Magnetic Fields are heading to South by Southwest. The band will preform at Austin City Limits Live on Friday, March 16. Doors are at 6:30, and the band goes on at 8:30, following The War on Drugs. More information will be available on the ACL Live and SXSWwebsites.

"Andrew in Drag" video premieres on NPR's "All Songs Considered"

Our music video for 'Andrew in Drag' premiered today on NPR's 'All Songs Considered.' Watch Claudia and Stephin rotate on a lazy Susan while Darrell Thorne and Stormy Leather transform themselves with lipstick and pomade.
