Tour Update: Germany & Scandinavia + Third London Cadogan Hall Show Added
Stops in Oslo, Copenhagen, Heidelberg, Munich, and Berlin have been added to The Magnetic Fields' summer European tour itinerary.
The Magnetic Fields have also added a third night to their run at London's Cadogan Hall. Tickets for the July 9-11 London shows are now on sale through Live Nation UK.

Upcoming Vinyl Releases (Updated)

The Magnetic Fields are readying the re-release of their catalog on full-length 12" vinyl albums. Merge Records will start the run in May with "The Charm of the Highway Strip," the band's 1994 Merge debut. Nonesuch Records will follow on June 24 with a pressing of "Distortion," the band's January 2008 release. This fall, Merge Records will release the vinyl edition of "Get Lost." "The Charm of the Highway Strip" is now available for pre-order at the Merge Records Store.

Dublin Show Added + TMF Europe Ticketing Updates
The Magnetic Fields have announced a July 8 show at Dublin's Vicar Street. Tickets will be on sale starting Friday, April 18 through Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the June 22 (Barcelona) and June 23 (Madrid) shows will also be on sale starting this Friday, April 18 through Tick Tack Ticket.

New Release April 8: "The Man of a Million Faces"

A special download-only version of Stephin Merritt's "The Man of a Million Faces" will be released on April 8 by Nonesuch Records. The song will be available at iTunes (US), Amazon (US), and other music services worldwide.
"The Man of a Million Faces," composed in two days for the first installment of NPR's "Project Song," was inspired by an image by photographer Phil Toledano and the term "1974."
