A special download-only version of Stephin Merritt's "The Man of a Million Faces" will be released on April 8 by Nonesuch Records. The song will be available at iTunes (US), Amazon (US), and other music services worldwide. "The Man of a Million Faces," composed in two days for the first installment of NPR's "Project Song," was inspired by an image by photographer Phil Toledano and the term "1974."
